As we mark the first anniversary of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, we remain mindful of all those who have been impacted by this somber occasion.
In response to the crisis, we took decisive action. Our first step was to terminate all business relationships with companies and organizations based in the Russian Federation and their overseas subsidiaries. We then focused our efforts on helping the Ukrainian civilian population, who have suffered greatly in this war. We donated and transported medical supplies, financial assistance, food, sanitation products, and other necessities to various NGOs that support Ukraine.
In January 2023, we had the privilege of hosting the Ukrainian Ambassador to Finland at our Godby facility, where she had to the opportunity to meet one of our employees from Ukraine. At Optinova, inclusivity and equality are fundamental values, and we are committed to providing aid for as long as it’s needed.
As an organization, we will remain vigilant and evaluate potential business decisions as events unfold. Our pledge to support the Ukrainian people during this challenging time is unwavering.
