Optinova Group today published its Sustainability Report 2020, highlighting the priority areas, activities, and commitment towards sustainable development.
“For Optinova, 2020 was a stress test on how we were able to stick to our core values and long-term directions,” said Anders Wiklund, CEO of Optinova Group. “We have chosen to see opportunities rather than challenges. We have leveraged the slower business pace during the pandemic to initiate what we call the Warp-Zone operation to quickly transform and prepare ourselves for the new normal. Sustainability is a key focus area of the Optinova Group in 2021 and we look forward to setting up our goals and reaffirming our commitment to leading the extrusion industry in sustainability.”
The highlights of the Optinova Group Sustainability Report 2020 include:
- the dialogues that we maintain with our stakeholders to understand and analyze their priorities
- the priority areas that we have selected based on the stakeholder dialogues and the key activities and initiatives that we have in place to address those priorities
- the path forward for sustainability in 2021, including further measurements and goal setting

In 2020, we built the infrastructure for how we implement, measure and analyze our sustainability efforts,” said Annette Höglund, CCO of Optinova Group, Sustainability Ambassador. “We talked to our stakeholders, gathered their ideas and identified the sustainability areas that are closest to our heart to prioritize and improve on. We understand that the success of our sustainability efforts depends heavily on a strong, robust relationship between Optinova and its stakeholders. Therefore, it feels good to have started it.”
