We continuously seek ways to enhance and expand our ability to source the best raw materials in the market. For 50 years, we have built a long-term partnership with every reliable polymer producer in the market. Such a partnership has allowed us to ensure a stable stock of quality polymer resins and a variety of polymer products that help enrich our capability portfolio. At Optinova, we work with a number of polymers, from fluoropolymers (PTFE, PFA, FEP, ETFE and PVDF) to thermoplastic polymers and elastomers, and we develop unique formula that are intellectual properties of the Optinova Innovation Center. For each customer requirement, our team of polymer and extrusion experts design and customize a particular tubing solution that can deliver and support the end application of the product in every challenging situation.

In-house expertise and innovation

As important as keeping a steady supply of quality materials, maintaining a team of in-house experts in polymer and extrusion processes within proximity to production sites is key to producing consistently quality products. We have over 3 200 years of accumulated work experience at Optinova and many of our employees have worked in the extrusion industry for more than 20 years. Our polymer experts are leading PhD scholars in their field and our process engineers graduated from leading institutions in their market areas. The knowledge and expertise that we have accumulated over 50 years combined with the competencies that our polymer experts and process engineers bring with them enable us to develop a vast portfolio of extrusion products that can support virtually any industrial or medical applications. We produce catheter shaft that could go into the human’s vein to robust, tight tolerant industrial tubing for aerospace.

Developed quality management systems

The final, but also most important, element of our success is a technologically advanced quality management system. We continuously develop and equip our quality infrastructure with the latest technology available. The new Hall 7 at Optinova Godby is a great example for our quest to further improve the quality of our product through better monitoring our facility. Hall 7 saw for the first time the next generation ventilation technology installed in an Optinova production facility. The new ventilators allow us, through a new SPC software, to surveil the contaminants and particles in each cubic meter of the production hall at a speed and frequency like never before. As a full-service extrusion provider, we also support our customers to acquire the necessary certifications from the authorities for the use of our tubing solution in their product across market areas.
