Optinova’s etched PTFE liner is our thinnest extruded liner ever created. It is typically used as low-friction inner layer in various types of minimally invasive delivery devices. The liner is also available in over-the-wire (OTW) configurations with ultra-thin walls.
Etching
Our proprietary OD etching system enables a fully controlled etch process, with unsurpassed contact angle measurements, which is an important factor in achieving proper adhesion between layers in the catheter shaft manufacturing process.
